Tuesday, June 18

Title/Description

  Transportation from Dulles airport to Observatory. Meet the group by 1:15pm near the United ticketing counters (2nd level, check-in/ticketing level), close to windows and to the right side of your exit from the security area of the airport. We estimate ~1:45pm departure from Dulles.
Work on Scavenger Hunt #0.
Find your Team members.


Observing Trainees: Remote Observing Instructions and Scavenger Hunt (Complete before workshop!)

Upon arrival at Observatory: pick up keys. Boxed dinners (sandwiches, chips, dessert and beverages) will be located in the bunkhouse.
Find any other members of your team and discuss your answers to Scavenger Hunt #0.
Settle into rooms.
Note: while at the Observatory, stay on marked paths. Please do not wander around the site on your own (some areas are restricted) and DO NOT leave the Observatory grounds.
