ALFALFA

The Arecibo Legacy Fast ALFA Survey

Data Archive

ALFALFA data are made available through the Cornell Theory Center via the Cornell-NAIC Extragalactic HI Digital Archive. The archive also contains the catalog and spectral data of targeted HI observations presented in Springob, Haynes, Giovanelli & Kent 2005 ApJS 160, 149 and the SFI++ catalog of photometric and rotational parameters and their derived Tully-Fisher method distances and peculiar velocities presented in Springob, Masters, Haynes, Giovanelli & Marinoni 2007 ApJS 172, 599.

α.40 data files (Haynes et al. 2011, AJ 142, 170)

NEW!     The datafiles associated with Tables 1, 2 and 3 of Haynes et al. 2011 (AJ 142, 170; ADS link) containing the results of the 40% ALFALFA survey, also known as α.40, can be downloaded here. Users are strongly urged to read all the details/disclaimers in the paper. (Radio spectroscopy is fun, but it is not easy!)

We are working now to add this dataset to the ALFALFA Data Release. We hope to have this done soon.
